Anne Goodchild - Diabetes Specialist Nurse
Helen Lavender - Practice Nurse
Sophie Parker   - Advanced Nurse Practioner

Our nursing team is responsible for:

  • taking blood
  • infant & adult immunisations
  • holiday vaccinations
  • cervical smears
  • dressings
  • ear irrigation
  • chronic disease management
  • well man and woman checks

Our Nurses are available by appointment. Higher qualifications and training enable them to undertake monitoring of Asthma, Diabetes, High blood pressure and Hormone replacement therapy. They also provide advice on Contraception, Coronary Heart Disease, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease & Warfarin Clinics.

Our nurses have an increasingly important role in managing minor illnesses and will often act as the first point of contact for you. They see patients independently, under the supervision of the Partners and are trained to recognise serious conditions that require referral to your Doctor.

Phone for an appointment for any of these services.

Behind the Scenes Team - Roles

Not surprisingly most patients won’t be familiar with the roles of our ‘behind the scenes’ teams. So, we thought it may be interesting for patients to know a little more and in so doing be helpful in directing queries in future.

Take a look at the role of the
Medical Receptionists.
